Abdulrahman & Abdulrahman......& Abdulrahman?

So Afghanistan decided to not kill him. In case you don't know, there's this Afghani guy, who about 15 years ago decided to convert from Islam to Christianity when some christian aid workers were stationed in Afghanistan. After that, he left to Germany and practiced his faith without any problems. Fast forward to present day Afghanistan. This guy comes back to his country, thinking that everything would be just fine. After all, the Taliban regime was taken down, and surely the new regime would welcome him with open arms. Well, not so much.

First of all, his wife, of all people, ratted him out to the religious/political authorities. Since conversion is an act of apostasy, it is punishable by..... DEATH? yeah, death. So they're about to kill this guy, until word gets out to the other countries (ie America). After a few phone calls were exchanged between governments, a compromise was reached: the case will be thrown out on grounds that the guy is mentally disadvantaged (which isn't the case). So instead of just throwing out this stupid law, they just made an exception to quiet the "haters" in other countries.

Anyways, that's not the important part. Guess what the guy's name is? ..... nope...... nope.....what? that's not even a name.... okay, fine, ill tell you.... his name just so happens to be Abdulrahman!! What are the chances! So, as of now, there are three people named Abdulrahman (including yours truly), each of which are different from the other. I was just thinking that maybe this could be turned into a sit-com or something. It'll be the new 'seinfeld', except not.

Think about it. All Abdulrahman's were raised muslim: one became a hardcore muslim, another converted to christianity, and the last one gave up religion all together. This would be genius. What's that? what are we going to call this new show? easy.... "There's something about Abdulrahman". Check your local listings, folks. This one will be a classic@
